NEW YORK – On Wednesday, September 29, starting at 8 pm Eastern time, Jasper52 will hold an auction of Designer & Signed Jewelry – 225 lots of treasures from Tiffany & Co., David Webb, David Yurman, Harry Winston, Oscar Heyman, Angela Cummings, Marina B, Alberto Juan, Henry Dunay, H. Stern, Cartier, Chaumet, Bulgari, Buccellati, Garrard, Van Cleef & Arpels, Graff, Piaget, Carrera y Carrera, Picchiotti, Boucheron, Greenleaf & Crosby, Christian Dior, Mikimoto, Fred Leighton, Hemmerle, Chanel, Hermes, Louis Vuitton, Gucci, and, believe it or not, still more brands and illustrious names than that. Absentee and Internet live bidding will be available through LiveAuctioneers.

The first of the head-turning highlights is an opera-length necklace of South Sea pearls with a diamond platinum clasp, created in 2005 by Tiffany & Co. The legendary New York City jeweler spent four years selecting and matching the 55 pearls that comprise this necklace. Each of the pearls has a white overtone and exceptional luster. The necklace, which measures a little more than 37in long, also appears on page 75 of Tiffany Style, authored by Tiffany Design Director John Loring. The diamonds on the clasp are round brilliant-cut and collectively weigh 6.67 carats. The elegant piece, which comes with its original box and pouch, is estimated at $248,000-$298,000.

Equally stunning is a circa-2000s pair of 18K gold, emerald and diamond Day and Night earrings by David Webb. The pear-cut emeralds weigh 3.05 carats and 2.75 carats, respectively. The platinum-set diamonds are round brilliant or marquise cut and together weigh 18.50 carats. The David Webb earrings are estimated at $105,000-$126,000.

Threatening to outshine them both is a circa-1980s emerald and diamond ring by Harry Winston. The emerald, which hails from Colombia and is graced with a truly exquisite shade of green, weighs 14.04 carats and is set in 18K gold, in contrast with the ring structure itself, which is platinum. The sizable emerald is flanked by a pair of trillion cut diamonds that each weigh one carat. The size 7 ring carries an estimate of $252,000-$302,000.
