NEW YORK – Large, colorful precious gemstones, complemented by fiery brilliant diamonds in contemporary settings, are offered in a 400-lot fine jewelry auction being conducted by Jasper52 on Wednesday, Jan. 29. Bid absentee or live online through LiveAuctioneers.

Topping the catalog listing is an AGL-certified 26.14-carat Ceylon sapphire and diamond ring in 18K white gold (above). The sapphire’s royal blue color is natural; it has not been heat-treated. The center stone is surrounded by the sparkle of 3.00 carats of brilliant diamonds. This unique ring carries a $220,000-$264,000 estimate.

A 2.27 emerald-cut fancy vivid yellow diamond rated VS1 is joined by step-cut trapezoid-shaped diamond sides totaling .52 carat. The round diamonds are F-G color, VS clarity and total .62 carat. The ring is crafted of 18K yellow gold and platinum (est. $74,000-$89,000).

An Art Deco-style bracelet in the auction showcases seven cushion cut natural fancy yellow diamonds totaling 7.73 carats with VS1-VS2 clarity. The fancy yellow diamond centers are framed by 7.11 carats of melee round brilliant-cut diamonds with a color range of G-H and clarity of VS1-SI1, with an impressive 406 diamonds total. This entire bracelet is certified by EGL USA (est. $35,000-$42,000).

Large pear-shape Brazilian rubellites highlight a diamond and 18K white gold necklace. This piece boasts an extraordinary 37.94 carat total of the richly saturated rubellites, with 23.91 carats of brilliant white diamonds (est. $40,000-$48,000).

An 11.53-carat emerald is framed in an elegant halo of 1.73 carats of fancy light-yellow brilliant diamonds and 18K yellow gold. This stunning ring has a $30,000-$36,000 estimate.
