PANAMA CITY, Fla. – The estate of the late Julia Jean Pais – a warm and friendly lady whose family and friends all called “Julie” – will be sold in an on-site auction slated for Saturday, Oct. 29, at her former home, located at 113 Queens Circle in Panama City (zip code: 32405) The auction will be conducted by the Specialists of the South Inc., based in Panama City. LiveAuctioneers.com will provide Internet live bidding.

“Julie Pais had a quick wit, a quirky sense of humor and a fun-loving nature that naturally drew people to her, and her home was filled with items that matched her colorful personality,” said Logan Adams of the Specialists of the South Inc. “She loved Henredon, Jasper and Ethan Allen furniture and owned hundreds of items that will most certainly be of interest to collectors.”

These items include Belleek fine Irish Parian china, Lenox Rutledge dinnerware and other Lenox accessory pieces, Lladro figurines, Hummel pieces, Royal Doulton, Florence figurines, Haviland Limoges, a collection of miniature Bulova clocks, Carlton Caprice and Nikko Provincial Japanese china, Italian hand-made Colony Blue glass stems and crystal stems.

Also offered will be colorful hand-painted Portuguese pottery, beautiful hand-made Portuguese framed needlepoint art, artwork, brass from Portugal, snow globes, tins, area rugs, cookbooks, beautifully made vintage ladies’ lingerie and a nightgown, and vintage dolls, including several Madame Alexander Pollyannas.

For the most part the auction will be absolute, but a few lots will have reserves. Phone and absentee bids will also be taken. Previews will be held the week prior to auction day, by appointment, and on the morning of the sale from 8-9 a.m. Central.
