NEW YORK – An Art Deco-style platinum brooch sporting eight carats of diamonds, an 18K white gold and diamond cocktail ring, and a 14K gold and diamond ring set with a GIA-certified 5.12-carat emerald will compete for top lot status at Jasper52’s Classic to Modern Gold and Diamond Jewelry Auction, which will be conducted on Wednesday, February 1 at 8 pm Eastern time. Absentee and Internet live bidding will be available through LiveAuctioneers.

The first of the aforementioned highlights, a platinum brooch with eight carats of diamonds, has an abstract, undulating style. The stones are G-color and vs-2 clarity; some are round cut, some full cut and some brilliant cut; and the brooch can be repurposed as a pendant. The piece is estimated at $12,000-$14,000.
