The sale will feature Chinese antique porcelains together with Chinese and Japanese ivories collected in the 1960s and 1970s, many purchased from the Chait Gallery
Chinese and Japanese antiques together with Southeast Asian Buddhist sculptures from a large Midwest collection are also in the sale lineup. An Orange County, Calif., family trust has contributed antique Chinese snuff bottles and antique netsuke. Numerous Chinese scrolls and woodblock prints have come in from various collections.
American and Continental paintings and American and Continental antiques have been consigned from an estate in Palm Springs, Calif.
The gems and fine jewelry segment of the auction includes gold, diamonds, tanzanite, emerald, pearls, etc. from a manufacturer closeout together with estate jewelry collected in Chicago.
