MIDDLETOWN, N.Y. – A two-session auction featuring militaria, fine art, antiques, postcards, Mid-century Modern, coins and jewelry will be held on Saturday, May 21 by EstateOfMind. Absentee and Internet live bidding will be available through LiveAuctioneers.

Session 1, starting at 11 am Eastern time, will be dedicated to militaria and firearms, and will include Winchester Model 52 rifles and target rifles; Colt SA revolvers; and an 1863 Civil War letter signed by Gen. A. E. Burnside, with Burnside Rifles content.

Session 2, which will immediately follow session 1, will consist of more than 650 lots, encompassing multiple categories. Artwork selections include a circa-1945 painting of a World War II float plane against a backdrop of clouds, signed by artist Eric Sloane. It measures 24 by 30in and is estimated at $25-$1,000.

The selection of watches and jewelry will feature a circa-1980 18K gold, stone, shell and diamond leopard brooch, signed by Asch Grossbardt and estimated at $25-$1,000. Coins will be highlighted by a key date 1877 three-dollar Indian Princess U.S. gold coin, AU-55, estimated at $25-$1,000; a 1927-P U.S. Peace silver dollar; and a collection of uncirculated Morgan silver dollars.

Decorative accessories will be plentiful and will include a circa 1905-1910 baroque silver and copper eight-arm chandelier, signed “GSS,” and two 19th-century Louis Vuitton trunks. All three lots are estimated at $25-$1,000.

Other offerings of interest will include a Leica 111G camera with extra lenses; a lot consisting of 13 assorted 20th-century Danish Modern vases, signed Rorstrand; and a circa 1940-1950 Isamu Noguchi cherry and fiber table lamp that measures 16in tall, and is estimated at $25-$1,000.
