NEW YORK – Decorative arts and furniture, all the finery that makes a house a home or castle, are the subjects of a Jasper52 auction Aug. 7. Famous European names such as Lalique, Meissen, Daum, Royal Vienna and Capo-di-Monte are represented in this no reserve auction.

Offering small treasures from Europe, the Middle East and Asia, this auction features a rich variety of decorative patterns and techniques.

Featured items include a spectacularly detailed bronze desk inkwell set (above) endowed with two lamps and an outstanding Royal Vienna jardinière and pedestal (below).

Other major names in the auction include French glassmaker Lalique in the form of a Clairefontaine perfume bottle (below), which is in perfect condition.
