NEW YORK – A diverse loose gemstones auction will be conducted by Jasper52 on Tuesday, July 23. This 470-lot auction showcases a variety of cuts, stones and colors. Vying for the top lot in the auction is a 4.53 carat pinkish red ruby (above) from Madagascar, which is expected to sell for $25,000-$30,000.

A GIA certified 2.56 carat sapphire from Sri Lanka, sometimes called Ceylon in the gem trade, has very minor inclusions visible to the naked eye (est. $4,000-$5,000).

A 1.61 carat Padparadscha sapphire in a natural pink-orange color has been certified by a reputable European laboratory (est. $900-$1,100).
