A 9-by-13-foot Persian Serapi rug made in the 1880s is one of the leading lots in the online auction. This beautiful rug (about) is expected to sell for $11,000-$13,000.
Another fine rug from that era is a 4½-by-12-foot Caucasian Shirvan (below) valued at $7,000-$8,000.
A nearly 9-foot-square antique Heriz/Serapi rug has a $12,000-$14,000 estimate.
Eight runners, long and narrow carpets – perfect for hallways – are offered in the auction. A 14½-foot-long Kurdish runner has a $5,000-$6,000 estimate.
A 3½-by-9-foot Caucasian Kazak rug, about, made about 1950, is a good value at $2,000-$2,500.
More than two dozen pillows made from vintage Persian rugs are also offered at estimates of $50-$60.
