NEW YORK – Function and timeless beauty converge in a Jasper52 online auction of fine French antiques on Wednesday, Dec. 12. Gilt mirrors, pairs of table lamps, figural clocks and more are sure to add a classic European touch to any home. Absentee and Internet live bidding is available through LiveAuctioneers.

A magnificent three-piece marble and gilt bronze clock set (above) signed A.D. Mougin will complement a mantel nicely. Cupid adorns the 16-inch-tall clock that is flanked by a pair of figural candelabra.

A Louis XV kingwood and gilt bronze dressing table (below) by Charles Bernel dates to the 1880s. With its mirror, the table stands 54 inches high by 42 inches wide and 21 inches deep.
