NEW YORK – Jasper52 will conduct an online auction of some of the world’s rarest and most coveted designer accessories on Tuesday, Aug. 4. The auction is composed of more than 200 lots of one-of-a-kind Birkin bags to limited edition jewelry designs. Bid absentee or live online exclusively through LiveAuctioneers.

Rare and guaranteed authentic Hermès items comprise the vast majority of items available in this highly curated auction.

Highlighting the auction is a Hermès Birkin bag HAC 40 (above) in Cuivre Taurillon saddle leather. In new or never-worn condition, the rare bag comes with lock, keys and clochette, sleeper, and its signature Hermès orange box. It is expected to sell for $32,000-$38,000.

For anyone desiring a smaller bag, there’s the Hermès Constance 24cm in Anemone Swift leather with palladium hardware. This chic model (below) may be carried by hand, over the shoulder or even cross-body. Among one of the most desired and difficult Hermès bags to acquire, is example is either new or in never-worn condition (ext. $17,000-$20,000).

With a long and storied history, the Bolide (French word for meteor) was designed for the wife of Emile-Maurice Hermès in the early ’20s and named for the first era of fast cars. Many Hermès scarves, ties and blankets are offered in the Jasper52 auction, including an Avalon blanket that features the brand’s H logo in Rouge. The blanket is woven of 90 percent merino wool and 10 percent cashmere and has whipstitch edges. It comes with its signature Hermès box and is in pristine store-fresh condition (est. $3,500-$5,000).

Kieselstein-Cord for over four decades has remained an acclaimed luxury brand founded by American designer and artist Barry Kieselstein-Cord. For exquisite examples of Barry Kieselstein-Cord jewelry are offered in the auction, led by a vintage 18K gold Column Pompeii link bracelet. Each link is stamped with the logo, date and carat weight. This classic bracelet carries a 17,000-$20,000 estimate.
