Hindman schedules auction at new Milwaukee venue July 26

MILWAUKEE, Wis. – Leslie Hindman Auctioneers will hold a summer auction at their newly opened office in Milwaukee on Thursday, July 26, beginning at noon CDT. The sale will present a selection of fine furniture, paintings, prints, decorative arts, asian works of art and fine silver. LiveAuctioneers.com will provide Internet live bidding.

Leslie Hindman Auctioneers will present a selection of paintings from Francesco Spicuzza, one of Wisconsin’s most prolific artists. He is best remembered for his beach scenes, one of which entitled McKinley Beach will be included in the auction.

The auction will also include a Sevres-style gilt metal and champleve mounted porcelain vase, a Louis XV-style giltwood chaise and an English mahogany tall case clock by J.G. Bradley.

The items will be available for exhibition beginning Sunday, July 22, and continuing daily until the auction. Preview hours are noon-5 p.m. Sunday, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday, 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Tuesday, and 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Thursday.
