BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. – Family-owned I.M. Chait is a West Coast auction house with roots deeply planted in the Asian art specialty. Founder Isadore M. Among the categories featured in the auction are:

  • Meso and South American Pre -Columbian stone carvings, including figures, yoke, basin and fine metates from a San Bernardino, Calif., collector
  • Central African Chowke Chihongo wood mask with braided hair; together with a tall West African Sande Sowo wood mask
  • Shang, Zhou and Han-style bronze ritual food and wine vessels from Pasadena and Scottsdale collections
  • Buddhist prayer necklaces and bracelets made of copal, coral lotus seed, etc.; together with jadeite pendants, rings and bracelets
