NEW YORK – Jasper52 will hold a jewelry auction on Tuesday, Nov. 19, that showcases the beauty and versatility of fine cultured South Sea pearls. Pearl jewelry of elegant simplicity and glowing showstoppers are offered in this exclusive collection of 66 lots. Bid absentee or live online through LiveAuctioneers.

A single South Sea pearl (12x13mm) suspended from a 14K gold and diamond pendant comes with an 18-inch-long 18K gold chain. The pearl (above) has a natural golden honey color and rich luster (est. $1,000-$1,100).

Nine high-luster South Sea and Tahitian pearls (10 x 11mm each) are strung on an 18K tricolor gold bracelet. At 22 inches long, the strand (below) wraps beautifully several times around the wrist (est. $2,000-$2,200).

Emerging from the tropical lagoons of French Polynesia, two Tahitian pearls (11x12mm) attached to 18K yellow gold hooks form a beautiful set of earrings (est. $900-$1,000). The pearls been hand selected for their natural beautiful Tahiti green color and lustrous shine.

Most cultured pearls are nucleated by tissue, but Edison cultured pearls are nucleated with beads. A luxurious necklace in the auction contains 70 Edison pearls (11×13.5mm) that were chosen for their bright luster comparable to that of high-end saltwater pearls, and for their unique vivid pink color. The necklace is completed with a gorgeous solid silver flower-form clasp. At 35 inches long, the necklace can be worn in various ways in order to achieve the desired effect (est. $2,800-$3,100).

Pinctada Margaritifera oysters produced the peacock green Tahitian pearls (8.5x11mm) that make up a 15½-inch-long bracelet that wraps twice around the wrist (est. $1,200-$1,500). The pearls have a natural green color the yields shimmering hues. A 925 sterling silver clasp completes the hand-knotted strand.
