NEW YORK – Fine jewelry in a variety of forms and a selection of loose gemstones are featured in a Jasper52 online auction on Tuesday, Jan. 23. Bidders viewing the catalog will find a combination of beautiful gems in every color alongside a selection of antique to contemporary designer pieces. Absentee and Internet live bidding is available through LiveAuctioneers.
Among the finest items in the sale is an 11.22-carat natural blue sapphire and diamond ring by Orianne (above). The featured sapphire is set within tiered diamond bezels supported by diamond-set split shoulders. The ring carries a $15,000-$17,000 estimate.
Another contemporary piece by Orianne is a 3.68-carat oval emerald and diamond ring in 18K yellow gold (below).
Fans of fancy yellow diamonds have their choice of three rings in this auction. One diamond (below) is cut in a heart shape with the center stone measuring 8.54 mm by 8.28 mm and a total carat weight of 2.66 carats. This size 6 women’s ring is estimated at $9,300-$10,000.
A platinum ring set with an oval ruby and diamonds has a $1,500-$1,600 estimate.
A diamond engagement ring that has a 1-carat center stone complemented by eight side diamonds is estimated at $3,000-$5,000.
Necklaces in the auction include a 21-carat yellow pendant on a gold chain that is 35 centimeters long. The unique pendant depicts a mosque highlighted in acrylic colors.
Estimates range from $50 or less on more than 55 lots of loose gemstones, earrings and bracelets to $35,000-$40,000 for a women’s fancy yellow diamond ring (7.87 carats) in 18K gold.
