Jasper52 delivers Exclusive Tribal Art Sale July 28
NEW YORK – Jasper52 will conduct another online auction of tribal art on Tuesday, July 28, that includes rare masks and figures from tribes around the world. Bid absentee or live online through LiveAuctioneers.
Highlights will come early in the sale with Lot 2, a mask of the Lele people from the Congo. This large mask (above) is expected to sell for $1,000-$1,200.
Having the same estimate is a 28-inch-tall carved wood bush spirit figure from the Baule people of the Ivory Coast (below; est. $1,000-$1,200).

A truly eye-catching piece is a slender mask from the Guro people of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Complete with a replaced feather headdress is measures nearly 6 feet high (est. $1,100-$1,500).

Also from the DRC is a dramatic mask with a headdress of the Chokwe people that dates to the second half of the 20th century (est. $1,000-$1,200).
