NEW YORK – A Van Cleef & Arpels diamond and lapis lazuli ring, a Bulgari 18K gold two-row diamond band ring, and a 14K gold heavy fancy link collar necklace will jockey for top lot status in Jasper52’s Fine Designer and Gold Jewelry auction, which will take place on Wednesday, November 16 at 7 pm Eastern time. Not all that glitters is gold, and not all gold is yellow. The November 16 sale provides pieces in all shades of gold, and some feature more than one. Offerings in white gold include an 18K white gold ring centered on a GIA-certified yellow diamond; a vintage Roberto Coin 18K white gold cigar band ring pave-set with six rows of tiny blue sapphires; a Jude Frances 18K white gold, diamond and London blue topaz halo ring; and a 14K white gold heavy graduated concave bangle bracelet.

Rose gold choices include a pair of Kobelli 18K rose gold, pink morganite and diamond halo dangle earrings; an 18K rose gold and pink sapphire floral leaf link bracelet; and a Le Vian 14K rose gold and diamond ring sporting a cushion-cut piece of smoky quartz. Among the lots devoted to pieces that combine yellow, white and rose gold are a delicate-looking 18K tri-tone fancy link fringe necklace from Italy; a 14K gold and diamond floral link bracelet; and an elegant 14K link collar necklace.

Highlights from the November 16 sale include a 16in thick, substantial link collar necklace in 14k gold. The piece, which was made in Italy and weighs 91.5 grams (3.2 ounces), is described as being in “excellent condition” and carries an estimate of $7,000-$8,000.

The Bulgari 18K gold ring boasts two bands of round brilliant cut diamonds, one band around each edge. Collectively, the diamonds have a carat weight of 0.51. The lot notes state the size 6 ring is in “very good condition” and, like the necklace, has an estimate of $7,000-$8,000.

The third highlight is a Van Cleef & Arpels 18K gold, lapis lazuli and diamond size 3 ring. Its shoulders are fashioned from two carved pieces of the coveted blue stone, and its center features 24 round brilliant cut diamonds, weighing 0.45 of a carat in all, set in gold. The bewitching piece is estimated at $6,000-$7,000.
