NEW YORK – A 14K gold jade solitaire ring, a 14K gold and emerald pin, and a 14K gold, emerald and diamond heart pendant necklace will compete for top-lot status at Jasper52’s sale titled Dazzling Desires: Fine Jewelry and Stones, which will take place on Wednesday, August 2 at noon Eastern time. Absentee and Internet live bidding will be available through LiveAuctioneers.

The 439-lot sale offers an impressive range of charming pieces, such as an eternity ring in brushed, blackened silver with .65 of a carat of diamonds; a 14K gold ring centered on a GIA-certified, lab-created 6.08-carat spinel with a deep blue-green hue; a brooch in the form of a pair of leaping dolphins, rendered in 14K gold, opal and diamonds; a set of 14K gold three-tier dangle earrings that each feature an amethyst, a peridot and a blue topaz; and a pair of 14K white gold stud earrings designed to look like the heads of screws.

Also demanding mention are an 18K gold Mardi Gras carnival mask pendant necklace; a pair of 14K gold cufflinks with a pleasing oval-shape checkerboard pattern; a seemingly three-dimensional rocking horse brooch decorated with enamel, 18K gold and an .04-carat diamond for the eye; a 14K gold key charm necklace; and a delicate-looking abstract floral-form brooch in 14K gold, sapphires and pearls.

And the sale includes a few individually offered lots of necklaces with precious gemstone beads: a 14K gold and diamond necklace with 107 carats’ worth of amethysts; a 17in necklace with 155 carats of sapphire beads, closed with a 14K gold clasp; a multi-color example with 50 carats of beads fashioned from emeralds and sapphires; and a second multi-color necklace decorated with 130 carats of aquamarines.

All three highlighted pieces for the August 2 sale lean on gold and green, such as a 14K gold pin in the form of twinned stylized trees festooned with 2.50 carats of natural round emeralds, which is estimated at $1,200-$1,500.

Another standout is a 14K gold necklace strung with a heart-shape pendant boasting 2.50 carats of emeralds as well as 0.3 of a carat of diamonds. Its estimate is $900-$1,100.

Completing the gold and green delights is a 14K gold ring with a rope twist pattern that showcases a two-carat, oval-shape natural jade. The size 8 ring has an estimate of $1,200-$1,500.
