NEW YORK – In time for holiday gift-giving to a special someone, Jasper52 will roll out the pearls in an exclusive jewelry auction Friday, Nov. 23. More than 100 lots—necklaces, bracelets and earrings—of certified pearl jewelry are being offered in this online auction, which showcases the beauty and versatility of fine pearls. Absentee and Internet live bidding is available through LiveAuctioneers.

Certified by Mikimoto in New York, a 35-inch-long estate necklace of 87 large (10-9.5 mm) pearls comes with its original Mikimoto box. This authentic vintage Mikimoto Akoya pearl necklace (above) has beautiful luster with beautiful thick nacre plus a classic Mikimoto 18K gold clasp. The pearls are a pink white color with an “A” quality grade with good luster. The clasp has been polished and the necklace restrung by Mikimoto to give it a fresh look for many more years of use. It has a $16,000-$19,000 estimate.

A vintage estate Mikimoto pearl bracelet (below) in the auction consists of 16 large pearls and an 18K yellow gold clasp. This rare and beautiful bracelet is 7 inches long and comes with its original Mikimoto box. The clasp has been polished and the pearls have been cleaned and restrung by Mikimoto (est. $4500-$5,500).

Also stunning is a 22-inch-long Akoya pearl, diamond and 14K gold lariat necklace has been certified by the Gemological Appraisal Laboratory in New York (est. $1,500-$2,000).

A 17½-inch-long estate double strand Akoya pearl necklace has a 14K diamond and tsavorite garnet clasp. This glamorous necklace has 94 large high-luster pearls. It too is GAL certified and has a $2,500-$3,000 estimate.

Forty-five large black peacock South Sea Tahitian pearls compose a 17½-inch-long necklace that has a 14K white gold clasp with two diamond rondels and 32 single-cut diamonds. GAL certified, this black pearl necklace has a $3,000-$3,500 estimate.
