NEW YORK – Jasper52’s latest Exquisite Decorative Arts online auction on Tuesday, Nov. 24, will consist of a diverse array of antique to modern objects. Beautiful porcelain and glass vases, impressive dinnerware and lovely bronze sculptures are among the unique treasures in this 443-lot sale. Four dozen lots of fine Herend porcelain are offered including a PiVoine Imperiale Chinese bronze-style vase (above), a limited edition of just 50 pieces issued in 2006. Its original retail price was $2,970. The 8.3-inch-tall remains in excellent condition and is expected to sell for $1,200-$1,500.

Fans of midcentury century modern should take note of a colorful 8-inch-tall Murano Glass vase. Made in Italy, this stylish cased-glass vase is in very good condition (est. $2,100-$3,000).

Thirty Chinese snuff bottles are offered in this auction. Among the nicest is one made of carved and polished agate. Snuff bottles were made to hold powered tobacco, which was considered to be medicinal. This 2¾-inch-tall bottle is valued at $5,600-$8,000.

Numerous bronze figures, both vintage and contemporary, are available. Among the latter is a 12 ½-in-tall seated monkey that has a lifelike appearance (est.$2,000-$2,500).

Auguste Moreau (1861-1906) was a prolific French sculptor. One of his works is featured in the Jasper52 auction, Les Deux Enfants a la Gerbe de Fleurs, which depicts a pair of children. The vintage bronze group mounted on a white marble stands about 21½ inches high (est. $4,000-$5,000).
