NEW YORK – Vintage and antique pieces mingle beautifully in a Premium Jewelry Auction that will be conducted Tuesday, June 5, by Jasper52. Colorful cocktail rings, storied mourning jewelry and even an iconic Hammerman Brothers vintage starfish brooch are prime examples of the diversity celebrated in this special sale. Absentee and Internet live bidding is available through LiveAuctioneers.

Many of the top pieces in the auction date to the mid-20th century. A 14K yellow gold and diamond bracelet (above) supports 216 fine white diamonds for a total of 6.5 carats. The bracelet, which measures 7 inches long and a half-inch wide, is expected to sell for $1,500-$2,000.

Two brilliant cut diamonds, 10 baguette cut diamonds and 68 single cut diamonds sparkle from a pair of 1940s platinum cocktail earrings measuring 1¾ inches long. This premium quality pair (below) has a $6,000-$7,000 estimate.

Forty-six natural blue sapphires highlight a pair of Art Deco style diamond earrings set in platinum (est. $5,000-$6,000).

A 1940s 14K yellow gold bowtie choker shows off an estimated 1.5 carats of brilliant cut diamonds that are set in white gold channels (est. $4,000-$5,000).

An original from the Art Deco era is a stunning sapphire and diamond cocktail ring set in platinum. This exquisite ring is set with centrally bezel-set round old mine cut diamond (.80 carat), 46 single cut diamonds (.35 carat) and 20 natural blue sapphires (.44 carat).

The signed Hammerman Brothers 18K yellow gold starfish brooch has approximately 1 carat of brilliant cut diamonds set in a white gold starfish setting in the center (est. $2,500-$3,500).

A fine example of Victorian mourning jewelry is a 14K gold brooch having a glazed, bezel-set center containing neatly woven, braided human hair, circa 1830-1850 (est. $200-$250).
