NEW YORK – From French Modernist chandeliers to mid-century industrial lamps, a Jasper52 online auction to be held Wednesday, Oct. 30, has everything needed to light up a room or desktop. Bid absentee or live online exclusively through LiveAuctioneers.

The auction will open with a 1940s or early ’50s French Art Deco modernist chandelier, most likely by Ezan and Petitot. This large fixture (above) retains its original glass shade and copper frame and has been rewired and fitted with American sockets. It is expected to sell for $2,000-$2,500

A pair of important French sconces (below) date to the Neo-Classic Restoration (1815-1848). Originally fitted with candleholders, the fixtures have been converted to electricity. The crystal appears to be complete (est. $2,000-$2,500).

A collaboration between the famous ceramicist George Jouve (1910-1964) and Asselbur produced a mid-century modern chandelier that is complemented by a Mategot lampshade. Jouve worked on several sea creature themes including a mermaid, so this seahorse ceramic piece is a natural fit for his artistry ($1,500-$2,000).

The 1970s desk lamp, one of Domecq’s later designs, has a $700-$800 estimate.
