Highlights include an antique Sennah rug from Sananadaj in Kurdistan in Northwest Persia. It boasts a warm sandy-cream sub-field displaying a layered plain royal blue and Herati-patterned red notched lozenge medallion with small flowering vases and drinking cups, and also peacock heads paired as pendants. Described as being in good condition, the Sennah rug has an estimate of $15,000-$20,000. Another standout is an antique Mohtsaham Kashan rug measuring four feet, four inches by six feet, eight inches and carrying an estimate of $12,000-$15,000.

Completing the highlights is a mid-century tapestry by the renowned French artist Jean Lurcat, who championed the antique medium with passion and verve while updating it for modern times. Lurcat was known for his bold and colorful designs, often featuring stylized figures and abstract forms. This signed piece spans six feet, five inches by eight feet, eight inches and is estimated at $35,000-$40,000.
