MT. CRAWFORD, Va. – Jeffrey S. Evans & Associates will conduct their first auction of textiles and antique sewing items July 16 beginning at 9:30 a.m.

Absentee and Internet live bidding will be available through LiveAuctioneers.com.

Consignments include a large group of items deaccessioned by the Museum of Early Southern Decorative Arts and George Washington’s Mount Vernon. These items are being sold because they fall outside of each museum’s collecting mission; all funds will go into the museums’ acquisition funds.
