AMESBURY, Mass. – John McInnis Auctioneers is hosting its October Estates Auction in two sessions on Saturday, Oct. 27, 2012 at its gallery in Amesbury, Mass., north of Boston. LiveAuctioneers.com will provide the Internet live bidding for the sale.
More than 700 fresh estate lots will be offered. Session I will begin at 10:00 a.m. Eastern Time and include modernism, porcelain, silver, paintings, Victoriana, Hummels, Arts & Crafts, Lladro, Asian and fountain pens. Session II will begin at 3:00 p.m. and will include jewelry, handbags, Dresden and other German porcelains.
The auction includes more than 200 lots of estate and vintage jewelry, including gold and diamond necklaces, bracelets, rings, earrings and pendants.
The sale also includes a wonderful Dresden and German porcelain collection featuring designs by some of the finest makers. The collection is from the Estate of Kathy L. Hipp, a longtime resident of San Antonio, Texas.
Also featured is a fine selection of mid-century modern furniture including a Dunbar extension dining table with a set of six chairs, a Dunbar card table and a mid-century Dunbar curved-back sofa. Also to be auctioned are chrome and leather armchairs, laminated armchairs and a Dyrlund rosewood executive desk.
