BROOKLYN, N.Y. – SJ Auctioneers will hold its next Collectible Vehicles, Dolls and Jewelry auction on Friday, April 1, starting at 5 pm Eastern time. Absentee and Internet live bidding will be available through LiveAuctioneers.

The doll selection is markedly strong, led by a fully articulated nine-inch wooden Felix the Cat doll, estimated at $500-$2,500.

Offered as one lot is a group of Pinn family dolls, which includes Ty, Bobby, Hattie, Ty, Harry, Beauty and Baby. Its estimate is $1,500-$5,000.

Of particular note is a Schoenhut toddler doll – specifically, the 11/107w model of doll on a walker body. Walking dolls that lacked holes in their feet first appeared in 1919. The example on offer has the Schoenhut label on its back and carries an estimate of $1,000-$5,000.

Vintage Disney merchandise always sells well, and the April 1 auction features a trio of circa-1930s Borgeldt Disney figures in their original box. The Japanese bisque figures all have their original paper labels on their feet. They are described as being in very good condition and the box is described as being in good condition. The lot is estimated at $500-$1,000.

The final highlight is a 1949 Louis Marx Motorun electric race track toy, estimated at $250-$750.
