CULVER CITY, Calif. – Wouldn’t we all love to take a peek inside the lavish homes of Hollywood A-listers? On Sunday, September 17th, world-renowned Julien’s Auctions of Southern California will take bidders on a virtual tour of celebrity homes via a timed, online-only auction of nearly 200 lots of furniture, decorative objects and fine art. All of the items are from celebrity estates and can be bid on through LiveAuctioneers.

From now until the start of the auction, registered bidders can place absentee bids through LiveAuctioneers. Then, when the real-time auction commences at 4 p.m. Pacific Time / 7 p.m. Eastern Time, all further bidding will be conducted live online, with the lots introduced in consecutive numerical order until the last item has been sold.

A wide variety of objects will be offered, many of which are both collectible and lifestyle functional. There are fine examples of 18th-century English and Dutch furniture from the homes of legendary comedian Bob Hope and multiple Oscar winner Luise Rainer (The Good Earth, The Great Ziegfeld), in addition to items from the collections of Barbra Streisand, Jane Fonda, Patrick Swayze, Frank Zappa, Burt Reynolds, Ronnie and Jo Wood; Larry Hagman, Tony Curtis, Evander Holyfield, and more.

Among the furniture highlights is a pair of Chinese provincial cabinets (shown above) from the collection of Jane Fonda. Their pre-sale estimate is $3,500-$4,500.

A Yamaha grand piano (shown at top of page) owned by NSYNC’s Lance Bass is expected to attract a winning bid of $4,000-$6,000.

A Louis XVI-style gilt bronze mounted mahogany sideboard is guaranteed to add a touch of Continental style to any home, and it’s estimated very reasonably at $800-$1,200.

Other European furnishings come from the Estate of Luise Rainer. A fine Dutch marquetry inlaid commode (shown below) is estimated at $600-$800.

A pair of 10-light chandeliers (shown below) from the collection of former heavyweight boxing champ Evander “The Real Deal” Holyfield are waiting to light up new surroundings. They are offered as Lots 94 and 95, each with an $800-$1,200 estimate.
