PHILADELPHIA – Kamelot Auctions is kicking off 2020 with two sales at the end of the month. An online-only Mid Mod sale will take place on Jan. 30, commencing at 1 p.m. Eastern time. The following Saturday, Feb. 1, will be an Estate Auction, containing English and Irish furniture, lighting and decorative arts. Bidding will begin at 11 a.m. Eastern time. Bid absentee or live online through LiveAuctioneers.

Kamelot’s first auction of the new year on Jan. 30 is a collection of mid-century designs, heavily featuring Italian furniture, including the pair of zebra-patterned club chairs in Lot 5, estimated to bring $1,500-$2,500, and Lot 225, an unusual crescent-shaped sofa in two parts. Also featured in this sale are simple yet stylish pieces in futuristic materials such as Lucite and chrome.
