BEVERLY, Mass. – Kaminski Auctions’ estate auction Sunday, April 26, presents a fine assortment of art and antiques from various estates. Particular strengths are found in silver and porcelain, highlights being a Fornari Roma sterling tea set and a Sevres tea set. LiveAuctioneers.com will provide absentee and Internet live bidding.

Another star lot comes from the fashion category: a vintage Hermes porosus crocodile Kelly handbag in gloss black. With the popularity today of the Hermes Kelly bag, a vintage Hermes porosus crocodile Kelly handbag in gloss black is sure to draw considerable interest. Purchased in 1955-1960, the bag measures 13 3/4 inches high and is estimated at $20,000-$25,000.


An interesting 18th century French carved limestone bust, with original patina will also be included. It was purchased in 1984 from a Parisian manor and is estimated at  $8,000-$12,000.


The fine art entries include several works by notable French artists: two paintings by Henri Manguin (1874-1949) both depicting lovely views of Saint Tropez, a still life by Maurice Brianchon (1899-1979) and this scene of a young couple by Eugene Feyen (1815-1908).
