The estate jewelry offered in the sale ranks among the finest the New York auction house has ever offered. The selection ranges from a sparkling Art Deco 10-carat diamond double-clip brooch set in platinum (shown above) to a large array of antique rings, earrings, stick pins and cufflinks. Additionally, there are mourning necklaces crafted from gold or silver, many of which are set with semi-precious stones of amber, diamonds, jade, moonstone, sapphires, pearls or lapis lazuli.

On August 26 Kensington Estate Auctions will add to its solid reputation as a premier source for Moorcroft art pottery. Also, the company will present finely designed Luen Wo Chinese export silver, shimmering Peruvian Plata Peruana sterling Camusso serving trays, captivating Chinese Famille Rose porcelain painted fire dragon plaques, Philadelphia Wedgwood, 19th-century French Majolica Creole Montereau service pieces, and from the noted Israeli artist Aharon Bezalel, a bronze sculpture titled The Family.
