Leland Little Auctions hosts fine wine specialty sale May 6

HILLSBOROUGH, N.C. – Since adding wine auctions to its menu a few years ago Leland Little Auctions now conducts the largest such specialty auctions in the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic. Leland Little will auction 421 lots of wine, many of them multiples, on Thursday, May 4, beginning at 6 p.m. Eastern. Absentee and Internet bidding is available through LiveAuctioneers.
High on the list are two bottles of vintage 1989 Chateau Pichon-Longueville, Lalande, Pauillac (above) and three bottles of 1983 Chambertin, Clos de Beze, Clair-Dau (below).

The auction also features six lots of famous Chateau Lafite-Rothschild, including two bottles of vintage 2002 (below).

Two bottles of the desirable Chateau Latour, 1971 (below) and 2000, will be sold as separate lots.
From the northern Rhône wine region of France comes a bottle of 1990 Hermitage, La Chapelle, Paul Jaboulet Aine (below).
