CRYSTAL LAKE, Ill. – The entire inventory of KD3 Decorative Arts will be sold at auction April 4-5. Leonard Auction will conduct the auction, which will consist of more than 1,000 lots of quality antiques, furniture and fine art.
The sale will be conducted at KD3 Decorative Arts, 6704 Pingree Road in Crystal Lake.
“We are thrilled to offer this wonderful inventory of quality art, furniture and decorative arts. With something for every style and budget, this is a sale not to be missed,” said John Leonard, president of Leonard Auction, Addison Ill.
Highlights of the two-day sale will include a Pottier Stymus rosewood, parcel gilt and porcelain parlor suite; a stunning French bureau plat with bronze mounts and a leather top; a Medina mixed woods table designed by Leon Rosen for the Pace Collection; chrome and leather armchairs designed by Guido Faleschini for the Pace Collection; a 12-piece oak dining suite by Batesville; and a chrome and leather chair designed by Warren Platner for Steelcase.
Modern furniture by Knoll and Herman Miller as well as contemporary pieces by Baker and Henredon will feature prominently in the sale.
Fine art by Juan Giralt Lerin, Leslie B. Demille, Josef Albers, Lewis Lumen Cross, Sigrid Burton, Ruth Hallensleben and Lucia Stern will be offered.
The auction will also include quality glass by Salviati, Higgens, Fenton, Zellique and Orrefors.
A preview will be held Thursday, April 2, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m and Friday, April 3, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Doors open each day one hour before the start of the auction.
