MT. CRAWFORD, Va. – Jeffrey S. Evans & Associates’ fall Victorian lighting auction will be held Saturday, Oct. 22 beginning at 9:30 a.m. Eastern. Featured will be the miniature lighting collection of Helen A. Feltner of Winchester, Va., which consists of more than 400 examples in all categories, including art glass and many rare figural lamps in ceramic, metal and glass.

Mrs. Feltner was a close friend of pioneer miniature lamp collector and author Ruth E. Smith and acquired a number of lamps at the auction of her collection in 1990. She also assisted Smith with her miniature lamp books and more than 60 of the Feltner lamps are published in one of Smith’s reference volumes.
This auction also includes a large collection of Victorian kerosene lighting of all types including rare student, parlor and hanging lamps, several with art glass shades, opalescent finger and stand lamps, rare Aladdin lamps, plus more.
A special regional meeting of the Night Light collector’s club will be held in conjunction with this auction. The club is for miniature lamp enthusiasts.
