NEW YORK – Nearly 100 famous-name vintage wristwatches – all verified authentic, serviced and ready to wear – are offered in a Jasper52 online auction taking place Wednesday, Dec. 13. Absentee and Internet bidding is available through LiveAuctioneers.

Topping the impressive list of luxury timepieces is a 1980s Patek Philippe model 3666 in 18K white gold. The watch’s case size is 28mm, making it suitable for a man or a woman. It comes with a solid gold Patek Philippe bracelet and will fit an 18cm wrist. It has been verified authentic, is in excellent condition and runs precisely. Founded by Antoine Norbert de Patek and Adrien Philippe, Patek Philippe has been perpetuating the tradition of Swiss watchmaking without interruption since 1839. This beautiful watch is expected to sell for $9,000-$10,000. It is one of two Patek Philippe watches in the auction.

Twenty-three Rolex watches are listed in the auction catalog, none more stunning than the 1970s Rolex Orchid women’s watch in 18K solid gold. This Swiss-made watch has been restored and is in excellent condition. It has been verified authentic by a master watchmaker. It is fitted with a new 14K yellow gold bracelet, which contrasts nicely with its black face (est. $3,000-$3,300).

Cartier revolutionized watchmaking design in the early 20th century with the rectangular dial. A 1990s Cartier Panthere unisex watch in 18K white gold carries on the tradition, only in a Swiss quartz (battery) movement (est. $3,300-$3,700).

Jaeger-LeCoulture is a luxury Swiss watch and clock manufacturer based in Le Sentier, Switzerland. Antoine LeCoultre founded the company in 1833. The lone Jaeger LeCoultre watch offered in the Jasper52 auction is a man’s alarm watch having a distinctive black and silver face and an 18K solid gold case. This mechanical (hand-winding) watch is also estimated at $3,300-$3,700.

Omega is a Swiss watch manufacturer widely regarded as a market leader for performance and durability. Since its founding in 1848, Omega has recorded time for the Olympic Games and was used by the Britain’s Royal Air Force in World War II. No less than 28 Omega watches are offered in the Jasper 52 auction. One of them is a men’s watch in a 14K solid gold oval case. This dressy 1970s watch is complemented by a crocodile leather band (est. $2,000-$2,200).

Winding back to the 1950s is an impressive Alfa triple calendar moon phase men’s watch in excellent restored condition. This Swiss-made watch has a manual hand-wind movement in a 34mm gold-plated stainless steel case with a new leather band (est. $1,900-$2,100).
