Luxury watch auction June 9 in time for Father’s Day

NEW YORK – A choice selection of more than three dozen men’s luxury watches are presented in a Jasper52 online auction that will be conducted on Tuesday, June 9. Bidders will discover fine watches by world-class manufacturers such as Omega, Rolex, Movado, Longines and Vacheron Constantin. Estimates range from $250 to $10,000. Bid absentee or live online exclusively through LiveAuctioneers.

At the top of the list is an 18K rose gold Omega Museum Collection 1951 Cosmic model, Reference no. 57018000 (above), which was manufactured from 2000-2010. It is expected to sell for $8,000-$10,000.

Having the same estimate is an 18K Blancpain Villeret Rattrapante Split-Chrono Automatic, reference no. 1186-1418. Made in the 1990s, this chronograph watch (below) has been recently overhauled but retains all its original parts (est. $8,000-$10,000).

The featured Rolex model is an Oyster Perpetual Datejust model, reference no.16203, from 1997. Its gold and stainless steel case matches the original bracelet with deployment clasp. The original box is included (est. $5,000-$6,000).

A Longines Lindbergh Hour Angle model, reference no. L2.617.4, comes with its original steel bracelet, box and documents. Made during the past decade, it carries a $1,200-$1,500 estimate.

It’s difficult to find a high quality American-made watch but Detroit newcomer Shinola more than qualifies. The Jasper52 auction features a retro inspired Shinola Argonite 1069 having a quartz movement. Made since 2011, when the company was founded, this watch has a tempting $350-$400 estimate.

All of the watches offered in the auction are in running condition and show only traces of wear.
