MG Neely Auction showcases eclectic Palm Beach estates Feb. 12
LANTANA, Fla. – An array of antiques, fine art, designer décor, sterling silver and bronze sculptures will be auctioned Feb. 12, at noon Eastern Time by MG Neely Auction. Absentee and Internet live bidding is available through LiveAuctioneers.
Mid-century modern is always popular, and this auction includes tessellated stone mirrors, coffee tables and consoles by Maitland Smith, life-size Heron sculptures, Arthur Court serving pieces, and Lucite furniture. Designers include Pace, Mastercraft, Opal Klein, George Hollis Jones and Paul McCobb.
Decorative light fixtures include a pair of Bauer stacked Lucite table lamps, vintage floor lamps, several lamp tables and statement lamps by Rougier, Laurel, Modaluce, Vetri Murano, Vetreria DeMajo and The Natural Light.
Decorative glass, porcelain and pottery items in the sale are by Philabaum, Kosta Boda (below) and Capo-Di-Monte.
Rita Talariera, Alfred Aguilar, Michael Aguilar, Maxine Yepi and Anita Pino Martinez have fine Native American pottery in the auction.
The sale offers unique finds such as a 1977 Rolls Royce Silver Shadow II, Heubach Koppelsdorf and Simon & Halbig porcelain and wood dolls, Earnest Dudley Chase maps, Jugendstil German children’s books, and Fitzgerald Sour Mash Kentucky Bourbon.
Military history pieces include World War II Army Air Force pilot wing pins, World War II Nazi-issued passports to a Jewish couple fleeing the country, and a Civil War soldier’s hand-carved cane.
