NEW YORK – Roland Auctions NY will conduct an estates auction on March 5, commencing at 10 a.m. Eastern time. The monthly flagship auction boasts a multitude of items, from objets d’art to luxury items, dispersed throughout 800 lots. The sale offers a spectrum of fine art, antiques and modern design.

Absentee and online real-time bidding opportunities are provided through LiveAuctioneers.com.

Fresh-to-market fine art will have bidders vying for paintings, sculpture, prints and photography not offered in the marketplace for decades.

Asian art is represented by a plethora of objects accomplished in porcelain, bronze, enamel, hardstone, Peking glass, cinnabar and jade, accompanied by a selection of furniture. Featured lots in this category include a fine antique bronze Chinese/Tibetan Buddha (above) with mercurial gilding and an Indian black stone Buddha stele.

Modern and contemporary design has a robust showing. Highlights include a large mid-century Murano glass chandelier, a vintage Camer glass chandelier and a selection of Danish modern furniture.
