Moran’s Studio Fine Art auction is dotted with prints from masters of the medium. A stunning woodcut (shown at top of page) by Japanese artist Joichi Hoshi, Trunk and Branches, is expertly produced and sure to sell within its $2,000-$3,000 estimate.

From the city to the ranch, the coast to the desert, views of California abound in the auction. An impressionistic view of San Diego complete with swaying palm trees from La Jolla-based artist Harry Carnohan heads to the block with a $2,000-$3,000 estimate.

Karl Eugen Neuhaus’ farmscape featuring an oak tree-dotted hillside with outbuildings carries a $1,200-$1,800 estimate. You can almost feel the cool breeze from the Pacific in Joane Cromwell’s Laguna Shores, which is expected to bring $1,000-$1,500 when it crosses the auction block. And a desert view from the masterful Sam Hyde Harris features in the auction with an approachable $1,000-$2,000 estimate.

Works from international artists feature prominently in the auction as well. An abstract Bedouin Woman from Israeli artist Audrey Bergner is a stunning work by the artist and comes to the block with a $400-$600 estimate.

An exquisite portrait from artist Jean-Pierre Capron of a French woman with choppy bangs and black turtleneck sweater shows a modern approach to a traditional subject and should sell within its $500-$700 range. A mischievous dog is the subject of a Baroness Emmuska Orczy painting, which is expected to reach $1,000-$2,000.

Also, A 1977 Star Wars Style-A poster by famed artist Carl Jung could go out of this world when it crosses the auction block with a $1,000-$2,000 estimate.
