MT. CRAWFORD, Va. – Jeffrey S. Evans & Associates’ August Variety Auction contains an array of items, from rare doorstops and banks to vintage cameras; American historical items and political memorabilia to vintage baseball and football cards; American and European art pottery to sterling silver flatware and hollowware, all to be sold Aug. 27.

Absentee and Internet bidding will be available through LiveAuctioneers.com.

Consignments include selections from The Strong, the National Museum of Play in Rochester, N.Y., to benefit its collections fund; property from the private collection of Audrey “Dolly” and the late William Journell of Leesburg, Va.; property from the private collection of William Feltner of Winchester, Va.; the collection of Robert and Patsy Hassert of Strasburg, Va.; the Elizabeth S. Loker estate, Royal Oak, Md.; and others.
