ASTI, Italy – With Christmas gift-giving in mind, Nova Ars proposes a holiday collection of Italian design with affordable estimates in an online-only auction scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 15. LiveAuctioneers.com will provide absentee and Internet live bidding.

From designs by Mangiarotti to Scarpa, from Sottsass to Mari, this auction offers an interesting mix of smaller pieces, all original and all from Italian 20th century design collections.

Highlights include an early 1950s console and mirror attributed to Ico Parisi, an Angelo Mangiarotti wooden table, a large Dino Martens for Aureliano Toso vase (below) and an early 1930s Gio Ponti for Richard Ginori decorated bowl.
