Nova Ars reaches milestone Sept. 23 in 50th auction with LiveAuctioneers
ASTI, Italy – Nova Ars will offer an interesting collection of 20th century decorative arts at an online-only auction Sept. 23. The sale marks the 50th such event Nova Ars has presented through LiveAuctioneers.com.

The 120-lot auction includes ceramics, furniture, lamps, chandeliers and glassworks, with many objects made in Italy, Designers whose work is represented in the sale include Bruno Munari, Ettore Sottsass, Dino Martens, Tobia Scarpa and Angelo Mangiarotti.
Of special note is a dynamic trophy designed by Bruno Munari (above), which Alfa Romeo presented to one of its drivers, Gianfranca Tommasi, following the 1967 racing season. This rare item is estimated at 2,000-2,500 euros.
Additional highlights include a San Polo enameled pottery fountain (below), a Stilnovo six-light floor lamp and a Jean Prouvè swing-jib wall lamp.

In very good vintage condition is a a pair of Carlotta armchairs by Tobia Scarpa for Cassina (below).
