NEW YORK – On Wednesday, Dec. 2, Capsule Auction presents Holiday Traditions, an impressive range of American and European fine art and select additions from private New York City and East Coast estates and collections. This sale includes a group of Old Master drawings from a single collection. Highlights include Darius Brought Before Alexander by Luca Cambiaso (above), whose drawing was formerly owned by an Irish-born portrait painter, Nathaniel Hone (1718-1784).

Also featured is Study of figures and cherubs by Cesare Pollini (circa 1560-circa 1600), which displays his technical skills – giving the viewer a closer look at his style and gesture.
