MONTROSE, Calif. – Ancient Resource LLC’s first auction of 2012 is scheduled for Saturday, March 10, and features a fine selection of authentic Egyptian, Greek, Roman, Pre-Columbian, Near Eastern and European artifacts. Internet live bidding will be provided by LiveAuctioneers.com.

A large and impressive Predynastic Egyptian black-topped pot, c. 3900 – 3650 BC. From the collection of the late J. Rilling, Orange County, Calif.

A lovely Roman limestone torso of Aphrodite, ex- Sotheby Parke-Burnet; from an old East Coast private collection.
Lot 186 –
A large Mycenaean cup with twisted handles, c. 1400 – 1200 BC, ex-Dr. Meyers Collection, Canton, Ohio.
