NEW YORK – Capsule Gallery Auction presents Photography + Fine Prints, a curated sale of over 100 fantastic and fresh-to-market artworks, featuring a singular collection of nude photography and select additions. The sale is scheduled for Tuesday, Dec. 11, at 12:30 p.m. Eastern time. Absentee and Internet live bidding is available through LiveAuctioneers.
Photo highlights include the following:
– A group of five contact sheets (below) by Diane Arbus from the estate of her friend Carlotta Berger, who modeled for the shoot. The work was documented in the book Diane Arbus: Revelations.
