EL SEGUNDO, Calif. – Premiere Props will be auctioning off more than 85,000 rental costumes on March 10 and 11, 2012 at Costume Bazaar in Milford, Connecticut. The live auction begins at 10 a.m. Eastern Time, with Internet live bidding through LiveAuctioneers.com.
Premiere Props, The World’s Largest Entertainment Memorabilia Store and auction house, has combined forces with two of the biggest costume rental and theater shops on the east coast for the largest costume auction in decades. The auction will feature thousands of handmade costumes that were used for classic shows as “Gone with the Wind”, “My Fair Lady”, “The Wizard of Oz, “Into the Woods”, “The Music Man” and many more.
Additionally there will be star studded memorabilia directly from Hollywood – including costumes and props from the upcoming “Mirror Mirror,” starring Julia Roberts and Lily Collins; the blockbuster “The Vow,” currently in theaters starring Rachel McAdams and Channing Tatum, several items from Michael Jackson and screen worn costumes from films including “The Adventures of Robin Hood” (1938), “The Three Musketeers” (2011), and “The Dick Van Dyke Show” among others.
