NANTUCKET, Mass. – Estate jewelry, heirloom furniture and fine art top Rafael Osona’s 40th annual Nantucket Noel Auction on Dec. 5. Bid absentee or live online through LiveAuctioneers.

A stunning selection of estate jewelry includes diamond brooches, multiple Tiffany & Co. classics, including Elsa Peretti, and a singular 18K yellow gold sculpted seashell brooch (above). Look for a dazzling pair of diamond and pearl earclips. Also, of note are three lots by iconic pioneering Greek jeweler, Ilias LaLaounis, alongside various and fine South Sea pearls.

There’s High Jing Qi (vital force or energy) in rare Pat Tseng art jewelry, featuring antique jadeite amulets sure to transcend the metaphorical. The artist’s signature silk cords provide a fluid connection among traditional Chinese forms: double rings (eternity), bi discs (heaven), and square cong (earth). Each placement among yuan jade hoops, Ts’ung tubes, or archer’s thumb rings is made in distinct harmony. These are two singular and stunning statement pieces that symbolize good fortune.

Fine art spans the 18th-21st centuries, with William Ferdinand Macy’s 1885 oil, Sankaty Light, Nantucket lighting the way. Copley Society Master Yankee Sagendorf and the Grumbacher Medal award winner Frank Corso’s circa 1980s oils, Misty Morning and Low Tide are solid; as is Salvatore Colacicco’s classic China Trade Shipping Scene. Look for multiple offerings from among Nantucket’s most sought-after artists, including Jan Pawlowski, Mellie Cooper, James Cromartie, Illya Kagan, Ruth Haviland Sutton and John Austin.
