NEW YORK – Just 25 lots are offered in an online auction of luxury watches that will be conducted by Jasper52 on Tuesday, Feb. 11. Many major names are represented in the sale including Breitling, Gübelin, Bulgari, TAG Heuer, Charles Nicolet Tramelan and IWC. Bid absentee or live online through LiveAuctioneers.
The auction opens with a 1980s Rolex Oyster Perpetual that has a steel case and its original deployment clasp (above). In working condition with visible traces of use, this fine timepiece has an $8,000-$10,000 estimate.
Three bold Bulgari watches are offered in the auction including a Diagono GMT model made after 2011. It has a 40mm steel case and original steel bracelet (est. $2,500-$3,000).
An IWC chronograph watch in the sale features a handmade Collezione dial that depicts a scene from the Bible. The 1950s watch has an 18K pink gold case (est. $5,000-$6,000).
The House of Gübelin has a 1950s chronograph watch in 18K yellow gold that is expected to sell for $5,500-$7,000.
Two Breitling chronograph watches are offered including a Navitimer Chrono-Matic that has the coat of arms of the United Arab Emirates on its black dial (est. $6,000-$7,000).
