DALLAS — Dallas Auction Gallery will hold its next sale on Saturday, May 25, featuring a wide selection of Texas, European and contemporary art as well as a significant collection of Venetian glass, sterling silver, estate jewelry and Chinese antiques. Absentee and Internet live bidding will be available through LiveAuctioneers.
The selection of fine art includes Bluebonnets, an alluring undated oil on canvas by Porfirio Salinas, estimated at $20,000-$25,000.

Leading the choices painted by European artists is Edouard Cortes’s (French, 1882-1969) rain-soaked street scene Theatre des Varietes. Its estimate is $15,000-$25,000.
Another strong European contribution is by Paul Augustin Aizpiri (French, 1919-2016). Titled Sainte Maxime, it measures a generous 60 by 60in and depicts a colorful harbor scene. Its estimate is $25,000-$35,000.
Also on offer is a 2014 acrylic and spray paint on canvas with resin work by Alec Monopoly (American, b. 1986-), titled Untitled (Scrooge with Oil). It carries an estimate of $10,000-$15,000.
Vacheron Constantin Jubilee 1755 limited edition wristwatch, est. $12,000-$18,000
Watch afficionados will appreciate a Vacheron Constantin Jubilee 1755, reference number: 85250 / 0009-9189, and number 143 of a limited edition of 252. The platinum case measures 40 mm and it features an aftermarket alligator leather strap with the original Vacheron Constantin platinum buckle. The watch is estimated at $12,000-$18,000.
Another scarce collectible of note is a Montblanc The Ancient Games limited edition fountain pen, numbered 4/28. It boasts an 18K gold barrel, a cap fashioned from Carrara marble, a mother-of-pearl cap star, and a two-toned 18K gold nib engraved with the head of Zeus. It also has three surrounding rings set with VVS brilliant cut diamonds that together weigh about .41 of a carat. The refined writing instrument also comes with an outer box, an inner lacquered wood display box, and documentation. It is estimated at $8,000-$12,000.
