NEW YORK – A 150-year-old gold Persian tiara, sparkling with 8.5 carats of diamonds and rubies, is one of the fantastic pieces in a Jasper52 online auction of Exclusive Estate and Designer Jewelry that will be conducted on Tuesday, Dec. 29. The tiara (above) measures 2 5/8 inches high by 5 1/8 inches wide and weighs 79.5 grams, It carries the highest estimate in the 300-lot auction: $17,000-$20,000.

An 18-inch-long necklace composed of South Sea pearls measuring three-eighths to one-half-inch in diameter fastens with a 14K white gold clasp (est. $7,000-$8,000).
