DANIA BEACH, Fla. – On Sunday, Dec. 9, Whitley’s Auctioneers will present a specialized auction of luxury holiday gift items. Absentee and Internet live bidding is available through LiveAuctioneers.

Highlights include a private collection of over 200 Asian antiques, mainly collectible netsukes from Japan and China and snuff bottles made of semiprecious materials, and a large private collection of unique open salts by Doulton-Lambeth Studios in England. Also of note are works of Fine Art works by several established international artists.

A popular and unique featured items from a private estate is Lot 482, a 20th-century fossilized sperm whale scrimshawed by the artist Robert Monfils.
